4 Arrested Over Racist Maltreatment of England players

Four individuals have been captured after England footballers were racially manhandled internet following their Euro 2020 last loss.

Marcus Rashford, Bukayo Saka, and Jadon Sancho were designated after they missed punishments in the Euro 2020 last.

Boss Constable Mark Roberts said the racist maltreatment was “totally wretched”.

Police said “a downpour of bigoted remarks focused on a portion of the group’s dark players” showed up via online media stages on Sunday, after England lost on punishments to Italy in the last at Wembley.

The UK Football Policing Unit said its group was working through “a critical number of reports of bigoted maltreatment”.

Nearby police powers had made the four captures, an assertion said.

Boss Constable Mark Roberts, National Police Chiefs’ Council football policing lead, said the racial maltreatment “has appropriately stunned and dismayed individuals the nation over”.
