The 2024 Paris Olympics’s Day 10 came across as an unlucky day for Indian fans. Indian badminton player Lakshya Sen misses the opportunity to bring home the 4th medal for the country. After his historic quarterfinal win hopes were quite high for this young man. However, his campaign unfortunately ended up losing 1-2. Moreover, shooters Anantjeet Singh Naruka and Maheshwari Chauhan also failed to bring bronze as well. More or less this 10th day has been a disappointing day for India.
Here are the key moments for India on the 10th day of this historic event.
Shooting
The Indian duo of Maheshwari Chauhan and Anant Jeet Singh Naruka failed to earn a bronze after a hard defeat against China’s Yiting Jiang and Jianlin Lyu by a tight 43-44 margin.

Despite putting in a strong performance throughout the event, this year’s Olympics proved unlucky for the debutant.
Wrestling
Heartbreak hasn’t left India in this sport as well, as after a head-to-head combat at Champ-de-Mars Arena wrestler Nisha Dahiya was subdued by Sol Gum Pak of North Korea 10-8 in the women’s freestyle 68 kg Olympics quarterfinal.
Although Dahiya took an initial lead of 4-0 after the first round and extended her advantage to 8-1, in the blink of an eye Pak’s counterattack made the score equal. Eventually, with two more scores, Pak sealed her victory.
