Dua Lipa is finally coming in India after years thanks Zomato! The international pop sensation is finally heading to India for her upcoming performance at the upcoming Zomato Feeding India Concert. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Zomato’s CEO Deepinder Goyal highlighted the messages he received from fans who requested free passes to the event. Goyal shared the pictures of his own purchased ticket while pointing out the case behind this concert. Moreover, he made it clear that he was not going to entertain such a request. Zomato CEO pointed out the true cause behind the event
Goyal shared on his official X account, “No special favours – even for me. I just paid for my tickets on the @zomato app for the Feeding India concert. Please buy yours too and support the cause.”
The event has gained immense attention among the fans as of August 26 more than 300,000 people have registered their interest in purchasing tickets. The CEO also highlighted the vital cause behind the concert and encouraged the people to make contributions. He noted, “I request everyone to please buy these tickets, and play their part in supporting the cause on eradicating malnutrition and hunger in India.”
The concert which will be held on November 30 in Mumbai is a part of the second edition of Zomato Feeding India Concert. Moreover, as per details the venue of the much-anticipated event will be Bandra Kurla Centre (BKC). Along with Dua, the concert will also mark the entry of artists like Jonita Gandhi, Talwiinder among others.
The ticket prices will start from Rs 3,500, followed by premium options going up to Rs 36,000, under which the attendees will have the benefits of elevated stage viewing along with free food and beverages, and dedicated parking.
The pre-sale tickets went live from August 27 giving early access to HSBC cardholders.
Dua Lipa expressed her excitement on the upcoming concert in India
The “No Rules” singer also shared her excitement about returning to India after her vaccination last December, when Lipa along with her family visited Delhi and Jodhpur in Rajasthan.
She said of the upcoming concert, “My recent trip to India was a beautiful reminder of how much I love this place. The warmth and energy I felt were amazing, and I can’t wait to return in November 2024 to perform for an incredible audience at the Zomato Feeding India Concert.”
In 2019 the 29-year-old made her last performance in India.
