Colombian-American actress Sofía Vergara is all set to find out a new date. In her recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the Griselda actress gushed about her relationship status while talking about New York City. Vergara recently parted ways with Joe Manganiello after eight years of wedlock. Let’s find out what her criteria about her new dating life.
Sofía Vergara said she will spend more time in New York
The 51-year-old said on the talk show, “I love it. Who doesn’t love New York City? The people, it’s the energy. I think that you have more options with men, also.”
The Modern Family alum gushed about her relationship status, “I’m single now, so in New York there are more people. There’s not only actors or writers or directors, I think there’s a bigger [pool]. I’m going to spend more time in New York.”
Moreover, for Vergara, apart from dating, the reason for loving the vibrant city is the city’s delicious food.
“There’s great food for when you go out on dates. It’s better, yes,” the actress said of NYC.
Since her split from Joe Manganiello the Griselda star was linked with Dr. Justin Saliman after being spotted multiple times together. Meanwhile, Joe is dating actress Caitlin O’Connor.
Additionally, in a recent interview with CBS Sunday Morning, Vergara said she has been “moving on” in her personal life.
Moreover, she said about the press’s reaction, “It wasn’t bad. I have to say the press was very respectful and very nice. I thought that they were going to invent more things, you know how they usually [do]. And I was just kind of surprised. They kind of just said what it was and that was it.”
Vergara and Manganiello announced the news of their split via a joint statement that says, “We have made the difficult decision to divorce. As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives.”
Therefore, after months, Vergara also talked to Entertainment Tonight about the new change in her life “It’s been very interesting, you know. It’s been an interesting year for me. A lot of changes, a lot of good and craziness and bad things happen and good things happen.” The Emmy nominee noted. “You know, what makes life so entertaining and interesting… I can’t complain. I’ve had a great, great time. There’s always time for more good stuff coming.”
