Afghan Got hit by a bomb that ripped through a Minivan in the capital of Afghan on Thursday. The incident happened near the Shiite neighborhood of the Afghan Capital and caused the death of at least four people. The incident was reported by a police spokesman named Ferdaws Faramarz.
No individual immediately claimed responsibility for the attack. The police spokesman, Ferdaws Faramarz, said the incident took place in western Kabul. The area is widely populated by the minority Hazara ethnic group who are mostly Shiite Muslims.
The Islamic State group has conducted out similar bombings in the area, consisting of an attack on 2 minivans on Tuesday that caused the death of at least 10 people.
Shiites are a minority who have situated mostly in Sunni Afghanistan, The local Islamic State affiliate has declared war against the minority. In a statement released on Wednesday, IS said they had also bombed an electrical grid station on Tuesday, leaving much of Kabul in darkness.
Violence and chaos continue to intensify in Afghanistan as the U.S. and NATO continue their final withdrawal of the remaining 2,500-3,500 American soldiers and 7,000 allied forces. The remaining troops will be gone by September 11 at the latest.
