Ananya Panday’s OTT debut Call Me Bae release date has finally been unveiled. This much-anticipated comedy series will stream on Amazon Prime Video soon. On 27th May, producer Karan Johar took to Instagram to announce the release date of this much-anticipated series along with a new poster. Apart from the Kho Gaye Hum Kahan alum this 8-part series also includes actors like Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Muskkaan Jaferi, Niharika Lyra Dutt, Lisa Mishra, and Mini Mathur. The new series featuring Ananya Panday will be released on September 6
The Student Of Year 2 actress was seen dressed in a red and white outfit while sitting on suitcases and looking down at the camera. On this Monday one of the producers of the series Karan Johar shared the poster where the release date is unveiled. The series will hit the theatre on September 6.
The caption of the post reads, “This bae is here to stay and slay! #CallMeBaeOnPrime, Sept 6 only on @primevideoin”.
Ananya also shared the poster on her Instagram, writing, “Hey Bae.” Moreover, Prime Video wrote on its official Instagram account, “update your calendars, things are about to glow up! #CallMeBaeOnPrime, Sept 6.”
Apart from Karan Johar, Dharmatic Entertainment, Apoorva Mehta, serves as the producer while Somen Mishra is the Executive Producers in the OTT debut Ananya Panday.
Moreover, Ishita Moitra, Samina Motlekar, and Rohit Nair have taken the writer’s gig while Collin D’Cunha will helm the series. Call Me Bae revolves around the story of a young heiress to hustler Bae, who after being downsized finds out that her most valuable assets aren’t her diamonds, but her street smarts and style. Refusing to display her broken status, she explores the newsrooms of Mumbai in order to a new hope of sunshine in her life.
As per the press note of the Prime Video, “Call Me Bae is the story of Bae, who upon being downsized from heiress to hustler, discovers that her most valuable assets aren’t her diamonds, but her street smarts and style. Broke but refusing to be broken, she navigates the newsrooms of Mumbai, finding beaus, behens, and her better self.”
Apart from this much-anticipated series Ananya has several upcoming ventures on her plate including, Control and The Untold Story of C Sankaran Nair.
