Emily in Paris star Ashley Park shared her health update after being hospitalization for a septic shock. More than a week after she unveiled her hospitalization after contracting tonsillitis that had “spiralled into critical septic shock” the actress posted a carousel on her Instagram with a long note about her condition. Ashley acknowledged her fans for boosting her into a quick and hopeful recovery
The 32-year-old who played the role of Mindy Chen wrote in her Instagram, “I’m deeply moved and thankful for your beautiful messages of support and comfort, your personal stories of sepsis and hospitalization, and truly to every person who has reached out with love. Every message has honestly boosted me into a quick and hopeful recovery.”
Moreover, Park added, “I’m sorry for the delay in responses, just wanted to update that I was medically cleared to fly after responding to treatments, and am now recovering and resting in Paris where I was greeted with this incredible warm welcome from loved ones and my Emily In Paris fam.”
The photos feature several bouquets of flowers inside a room, an image of her and co-star Lily Collins hugging, an oil pastel sketch pad lying next to food bowl, a semi-completed jigsaw puzzle, also her legs with numerous acupuncture needles.
“Thank you to @netflix and @emilyinparis for their genuine kindness and gracious patience as I wait to be medically cleared to work,” the actress concluded her note. “I couldn’t be more excited to join then all on set for Season 4. I promise im breathing through this all and taking as much care of myself as I can to get back into fighting shape. in the meantime, thanks for the couch cuddles @lilyjcollins ;)”
Collins who played the titular role in the Netflix series also dropped an adorable comment. “Couldn’t love you more and hugging you made me feel like home. You’re an absolute light sister,” the actress wrote. Meanwhile, Ashley’s boyfriend Paul Forman commented with two kissy face emojis. Forman also played the role of Nicolas de Leon on the recent third season of the show.
