Avril Lavigne and Tyga are on their separate ways now. The “Sk8er Boi” singer and the rapper dated for almost three month however their relationship timeline isn’t clear. A source close to the former couple revealed their breakup was amicable and none of them have any beef between them. TMZ first revealed the news of their parting ways.

As per close source of the former couple their split was mutual. The source revealed to the outlet, “Tyga and Avril broke up recently. It just didn’t work out and the relationship ran its course. The breakup was a mutual decision and they are friends.”
Their romance first sparked up in April after TMZ published some photos where the pair is laughing and hugging while parting ways after a dinner. However, at that time the outlet said that they’re only just good friends, not more than that.
Later on, the claims of the outlet were proven wrong after they were spotted together in Paris. On top of that the 38-year-old singer and 33-year-old rapper were spotted locking lips at the Mugler x Hunter Schafer party.
Insiders of the party claimed that they were locking arms with each other and were very attracted to each other. At that time a source revealed they were having a lot of fun together and began to have a strong bond for their similar interests.
The “Rack City” rapper didn’t lose any chance to show his love to the Canadian singer. He purchased a custom chain reportedly worth a whopping $80,000.
Before the relationship Lavigne called off her engagement with musician Mod Sun.
“Things haven’t been great between Avril and Mod Sun for quite some time,” a source close to the singer shared. “And after trying to make things work, Avril realized the relationship wasn’t right for her.”
