Bebe Rexha isn’t taking any risks while protecting herself. The singer has been a victim of an unfortunate incident. While performing in New York City Sunday night a fan throw a phone on her face which badly injured her face. However, she got immediate medical attention and even shared a post after the incident. She simply wrote in the Instagram post, “I’m good,” alongside a photo of her face which shows her eye is swollen and becoming black and blue. Also, there was a cut just below her eyebrow. However, she isn’t ready to take any risks again.
Bebe Rexha said she couldn’t get another bruise
The 33-year-old singer stops in the middle of a performance during the Philadelphia stop of her Best F*n Night of My Life” tour Tuesday night. She pointed out a slippery point on the stage.
Moreover, she said to the crowd, “Can we get someone to clean some of this? We almost ate sh*t, like, three times. I can’t get another bruise.”
The “I’m Good” singer also said, “Are we gonna have a good show tonight? Yes, we f**king are! Can we let people slow us down, Philly? No.”
However, she requested the crowd to not throw anything on the stage. “Just no phones on my face tonight, please. I beg of you,” Rexha pleaded. “Thank you, Philly.”
Meanwhile, talking about Rexha’s accident a spokesperson for the NYPD told, “On Sunday, June 18, 2023 at approximately 10 p.m., police were notified of an assault that occurred at the concert space of Pier 17 located at 89 South Street, within the confines of the 1st Precinct. A preliminary investigation on scene determined that a 27-year-old male intentionally threw a cell phone at a 33-year-old female performer on stage, striking her about the face. The individual was taken into custody on scene and removed to the 1st Precinct for arrest processing. The aided female was removed by EMS to an area hospital in stable condition.”
The accuser is named Nicolas Malvagna who is 27 years old from Manalapan, New Jersey. He told the police in his statement, “I was trying to see if I could hit her with the phone at the end of the show because it would be funny.”
We hope Rexha will not experience something like this again.
