So, to all the U.S. citizens out there, it’s time to discover the best beaches in your country. There’s something for the whole family on this list. Moreover, the best part is that you don’t even need a passport to visit any of them.

1. Kaanapali Beach, Maui

Maui is popular for its black sand beaches, lush green valleys, and volcanic landscapes. But, it is home to one of the most famous beaches, Kaanapali Beach.

This beach offers three miles of white sand and crystalline water. You can explore exceptional shops, live entertainment along with lounging on the beach.

And if you are adventurous try cliff-jumping. It will be a thrilling experience.

 

2. Poipu Beach, Kauai

It is located on the south shore of Kauai and ranks number two in the top beaches on this list. The beach consists of golden sand, a natural wading pool and rippling waves along with numerous activities to keep you busy.

These activities include snorkelling, swimming, boogie-boarding and surfing.

There is a high possibility that you can see marine life since the water is so clear.

 

 

3. Laguna Beach, California

Laguna Beach is located on the outskirts of Los Angeles and is a popular destination for both tourists as well as locals.

You can enjoy endless activities such as scuba diving, snorkelling and much more.

People can also witness the spectacular views while walking along the nearby trails at Laguna Coast Wilderness Park.

 

4. Wakiki Beach, Oahu

The view here is amazing, crystal clear ocean with mountains in the backdrop.

Located on the South Shore of Oahu, Wakiki has it all: Calm waters that are perfect for surfing, live entertainment outside a happy hour, window shopping, beachside restaurants, and more.

Moreover, do not miss the Diamond Head hike and Mountain Leah.

 

5. Cannon Beach, Oregon

Stretching four miles long, Cannon Beach in Oregon offers remarkable views unlike other beaches in the U.S. 

And do check out the beach’s landmark – Haystack Rock that emerges out during low tide.

Also, visit Clatsop County which is filled with cute cabins if you need a break for the surf.
