On June 16, on the special occasion of Father’s Day, the Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare star took to Instagram to show his and girlfriend Natalie Viscuso’s baby’s room. This post indirectly stated the upcoming arrival of their first child. The couple first went public with their relationship in April 2021, although their relationship stayed out of the public eye most of the time. Henry Cavill shared his fatherly spirit ahead of embracing fatherhood
The 41-year-old star wrote on his Instagram, “Oh yeah…..and Happy Father’s Day ye dads out there. Turns out I shall be joining your hallowed ranks soon! Any tips?? And don’t worry, pillows won’t be in the crib when the wee one arrives, just glue and scapels so he or she can build Warhammer miniatures. #FathersDay.”
Cavill also posted a selfie in the background of the baby’s nursery with the crib and the changing table with the witty caption.
Meanwhile, Viscuso also reposted the picture in her Instagram story with an adorable caption.
“Happy Father’s Day to the soon-to-be father of my first child! Overflowing with love and excitement over here,” the mother-to-be wrote over Cavill’s post.
However, the couple didn’t share any additional details about the gender or the timing of the baby’s arrival.
Earlier this April, in an interaction with Entertainment Tonight, The Witcher alum opened up about the current phase of his life after announcing the news of his girlfriend’s pregnancy.
“I’m enjoying this stage of my life very much so,” the actor shared. “I’m turning 41 in May and I have a real sense of approaching everything with more — more direction now.”
Moreover, he also shared his excitement of becoming a father during an interview with Access Hollywood in April. He revealed how his parents inspired him to become a father.
“I’m very excited about it,” the actor noted. “Natalie and I are both very excited. I’m sure you’ll see much more on that.”
