Nejat Chafehi, a 51-year-old traveler living in Copenhagen, said the standards were “not the arrangement”.
Ms. Chafehi added that she and numerous other transient ladies are effectively searching for work.
However, Dekar Muhamed, a transient who is jobless, said: “It is acceptable that you need to work if possible.”
Refuge applications have fallen strongly under Ms. Frederiksen, who has been in power since 2019.
