Disney on Ice skater Anastasia Olson’s entertaining performance took a scary turn. The professional skater plays Princess Belle in Disney on Ice. As per the officials at Hennepin County Medical Center Olson has been in a serious condition after a fall during a show in Minneapolis. The news was confirmed by the officials on February 12. The Officials shared to E-news, “The skater who portrayed Belle was injured while performing a lift during a pair skating part of the routine and fell.”
Moreover, they also revealed that the skater was taken to a local hospital and also acknowledged the fans for their well wishes. They noted, “She was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Disney On Ice appreciates the well wishes from our fans as our team member recovers.”
Hours after the horrific incident some onlookers detailed the event. An audience member named Beka told KARE 11 in Minneapolis. As per the viewer the vicious moment took place just about 40 minutes within the beginning of the show. Beka said,”This happened about 40 minutes into the show. They were doing a lift, it appeared shaky and she fell. I am beyond grateful and thankful for the remaining staff and the performers who kept going because that preserves the magic for the kids. I know that has to have been very difficult.”
The pro-figure skater has also previously shared an insight on her skating career and talked about recently hitting a milestone.
Olson wrote in an Instagram post at the time.”After such an emotional weekend, I thought to myself how lucky I am to have called D20 my home for 5 years.The memories and relationships I made here are unforgettable and irreplaceable. I’ve laughed, I’ve cried, I’ve loved. And in the end, it was all so worth it.”
