Drake became candid about his thoughts of getting married. In his recent appearance on Bobbi Althoff’s The Real Good podcast the “Hotline Bling” rapper shared he would never want to tie the knot with anyone famous. He is famously known for wearing 42 stones and a staggering 351.38 carats in diamonds necklace that represent the times he was about to propose but never did.
Drake said he will eventually get married
The rapper told host Althoff, “I don’t know. It seems like a thing of, like, ancient times or something. I think I will eventually. I don’t think I can offer somebody what they’d be looking for. Just consistency. I think my life, my work is my priority.”
Moreover, the 36-year-old also revealed he didn’t consider himself to be marriage material as he doesn’t want to disappoint his future wife. Also, he said if there comes the situation of him getting married it wouldn’t be with someone famous.
“I probably will not end up marrying someone famous,” the rapper said. “Famous people really aren’t that, like, anything. They’re not that intriguing.”
Previously, he had been romantically linked with singer Rihanna and also has a 5-year-old son, Adonis Graham, with ex Sophie Brussaux.
Later on, this week he had called rapper Sexxy Red to be “my rightful wife.”
Moreover, a TikTok went viral of the rapper calling up Red in the middle of his concert and also walking off stage and giving her a hug from her seat.
Meanwhile, he also said to the cheering crowd in the video, “Look, they got my baby mama here tonight,” while kissing her on the head.
Needless to say, it will be really great news for Drake fans if he finally walks down the aisle with the love of his life.
