Elizabeth Hurley revealed that she was not the so-called Elizabeth in Prince Harry’s life. The actress who appeared as a guest on Wednesday’s Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen was asked by a fan if she was the mystery “older” woman who had taken Prince Harry’s virginity as per his 2023 memoir ‘Sphere.’ Talking about the woman Harry said, “That was ludicrous! She was English. She was older than me. It was in Gloucestershire.’ And they were like, ‘Ah, it’s Elizabeth.’ It was absurd. It was ridiculous.” The actress denied the rumors with a witty answer. The 58-year-old said of the memoir’s lines, “It was like saying, ‘He’s great-looking. He’s American.’ Oh, it’s Andy Cohen.”
Further she confirmed to not be the woman in question adding, “I’ve never met him in my life.”
Prince Harry who is the youngest son of King Charles and the late Princess Diana and also the grandson of the late Queen Elizabeth married to former American actress Meghan Markle, and living in California with their two children, Archie, 4, and Lilibet, 2 recalled in a chapter of his memoir calling the experience as an “inglorious episode” adding it was with an “older woman.”
“She liked horses, quite a lot, and treated me not unlike a young stallion. Quick ride, after which she’d smacked my rump and sent me off to graze,” Harry recounts in the book ‘Sphere’. “Among the many things about it that were wrong: It happened in a grassy field behind a busy pub. Obviously, someone had seen us.”
After his departure from the duties as a senior member of the British Royal family in 2021 he left the United Kingdom with his family. The memoir also shed light on the several incidents with his father, King Charles III, older brother, Prince William, and sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, at length.
Although Hurley didn’t meet the Prince personally she has numerous encounters with Prince William and King Charles. Interestingly they both were involved in the 2023 lawsuit against Associated Newspapers, the publisher of the Daily Mail.
As for the actress’s romantic life, she was previously married to Indian businessman Arun Nayar from 2007 to 2011. Later she was involved in a relationship with actor Hugh Grant as well as the late American businessman Steve Bing, with whom she had son Damian Hurley.
