Gigi opened up about her co-parenting life with her ex Zayn Malik. In an interview published on September 4, the supermodel who shares 3-year-old daughter Khai with the One Direction member revealed what makes co-parenting beautiful.
Gigi said it works when her daughter is with her dad
The 28-year-old model said of co-parenting, “I think when you are a parent, you have to be intentional because, now, I literally have half the time. I work when my daughter is with her dad, and that’s the time I have.”
Moreover, she talked about how she manages her time after becoming a parent.
“And the jobs I choose to fill that time with have to be ones that are fulfilling to me,” the model continued. “I will literally fit in as many jobs as I can on those days. I’m sometimes a crazy person, but if it means a lot to me, then I do it.”
Later on, Hadid even thought of making her daughter model for her upcoming kid’s collection for her brand Guest in Residence.
“Khai and her best friend are our fit models,” the model explained. “They come into the office, Khai tries on one dress and then she’s like, ‘Do you want to go to the donut store?'”
Previously, Gigi also revealed how seeing her daughter spending time with both of her parents makes her very happy.
Meanwhile, the “Pillowtalk” singer also talked about his co-parenting life with the model.
The singer revealed on the Call Her Daddy podcast in July he and Hadid have a “really good” bond and share 50/50 custody of their daughter.
“I’m super full-on, hands-on with my child every chance I can be,” Zayn shared, “If I could get 60 per cent, I would have it.”
