The nominations for Golden Globes 2024 are finally here. From Greta Gerwig’s “Barbie,” to Christopher Nolan’s look at J. Robert Oppenheimer in “Oppenheimer” this year has been a treat for movie lovers. Receiving ten and eight nominations respectively it’ll be thrilling to watch who wins in the Barbenheimer game.

Meanwhile, HBO’s “Succession” also bagged nine nominations for its final season. This series will be competing in  the best TV drama race alongside “1923,” “The Crown,” “The Diplomat,” “The Last of Us” and “The Morning Show.”

On top of that, the 81st Golden Globes also marked some major amendments as this year each category now has six, instead of five nominees. Consequently, box office achievements and stand-up comedy performance awards were also introduced this year.
