Are you ready to live life underwater! Disney’s new Princess Ariel Halle Bailey shared the first poster of the 2023 Little Mermaid film. On October 13, the singer posted the first poster on social media handles. In September she impressed her by singing the iconic song ‘Part of Your World’ from the animated film.

On October 13 she shared the poster on her official Instagram account (https://www.instagram.com/p/CjqWhc1Lm5Q/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y= ). It features Princess Ariel sitting under the sea and looking up at the sky. Which supposedly is the human world or the world of her love Prince Eric. She shared the poster along with a caption, which says, ” Words can’t describe how immensely honored I feel to play the mermaid of my dreams, Ariel in Disney’s The Little Mermaid. Come under the sea with me, in theaters May 26, 2023″ with a mermaid emoji.
Bailey first talked about the film at an event on 9th September. The American singer said, “I’m so excited about this film, I’m just a fan of all of the other projects and the fact that I get to be a part of something like this. It’s amazing.”
Later on, she also conveyed her love for the character of Little Mermaid princess Ariel. I love this movie so much, and I’ve treasured it since I was a little girl. I did put a bit of pressure on myself. Just because I want to deliver all of the feels that I saw when I was a little girl.”- the 22-year-old said.
Details of the film
The film is directed by Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides director Rob Marshall. Along with Bailey, the cast includes Melissa McCarthy as Ursula, Javier Bardem as King Triton, Daveed Diggs as Sebastian, Awkwafina as Scuttle and Jonah Hauer-King as Prince Eric.
Fans have to wait a little to go into the world of Princess Ariel.
