Bryan Christopher Kohberger’s family is finally responding his arrest. On December 30, of last year Kohberger is arrested for connection with the University of Idaho killings. Two days after his apprehension Bryan’s parents Michael and Marianne Kohberger and sister Amanda released a statement for the public. The statement is shared by Bryan’s counsel Jason A. Lamar on the first day of 2023.
Bryan Christopher Kohberger’s family said they will seek for truth and prove his innocence
On January 1, Kohberger’s counsel Jason A. Lamar released a statement on behalf of his family. It started, “First and foremost, we care deeply for the four families who have lost their precious children. There are no words that can adequately express the sadness we feel, and we pray each day for them. We will continue to let the legal process unfold and as a family, we will love and support our son and brother.”
Furthermore, the statement continues,” We have fully cooperated with law enforcement agencies in an attempt to seek the truth and promote his presumption of innocence rather than judge unknown facts and make erroneous assumptions. We respect privacy in this matter as our family and the families suffering a loss can move forward through the legal process.”
The 28-year-old was apprehended on 30th December 2022 due to his connection with the University of Idaho killings. He was charged with four counts of first-degree murder and felony burglary charge in connection with the fatal murder. The fatal incident took place on November 13. Four innocent Idaho university students Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin were brutally killed at the event. As per reports of NBC News, on 31 December in an interview, his counsel stated he is “eager to be exonerated” in this case and he is “very aware, but calm, and really shocked by his arrest.”
