Jessica Alba’s Husband Cash Warren reflected on his bittersweet relationship with the Honey star. On the Aug. 21 episode of the Whine Down with Jana Kramer podcast, the film producer revealed he and the actress who wed in 2004 had previously broken up during their relationship period after years of jealousy.

Cash said he and Jessica broke up four years into our relationship

Warren said on the podcast, “When we first started dating, I was really jealous of other guys and the attention she was getting from other guys. It just wasn’t making me feel good. I was always a pretty confident person in my own [life], walking my own path and really happy there.”

He added, “Next thing you know I’m looking up and feeling jealous all the time.”

However, he admitted that the jealousy made both of them feel pretty bad.

The film producer, “We broke up four years into our relationship. It was the jealousy. I was turning into an asshole, and so we broke up.”

Moreover, Cash recalled saying the Dark Angel alum if they start over he would act “in a different way, in a more productive way,” and also will be his wife’s “biggest cheerleader.”

“If anything, when we got together I was like, ‘Don’t make sacrifices, pursue your passions, pursue your careers, don’t make sacrifices because you feel bad for leaving the kids for this week or that week,'” he revealed. “Eventually they’ll grow up and they’ll forget the fact that you were gone for these three days or these five days.”

Moreover, he said of the actress with whom he shares kids Honor, 15, Haven, 12, and Hayes, 5 that he tried to be a “good teammate in that regard.”

“I’m not interested in the spotlight,” Warren added, “I’m not a star, I’m not a celeb, I’m not an actor, I’ve never tried to be an actor. I high-five her, let her do her thing, and I’ve gotten more comfortable with it over the years. It’s something I’ll always be working on, she’ll always be working on it. We find ways where she can support me and she can uplift me. We really do try to find that balance.”
