Millie Bobby Brown is officially Mrs. Bongiovi now! The Stranger Things actress and her long-term partner who secretly tied the knot last week have finally announced the news officially. Jake’s legendary singer Jon Bon Jovi confirms the wedding of his son. On BBC’s The One Show on Tuesday, May 28, the rockstar revealed that reports of the good news were “true.” Moreover, he also shared a few details of the dreamy secret wedding. Talking with the news network the rockstar said of the weddings, “They’re great, they’re absolutely fantastic, it was a very small family wedding and the bride looked gorgeous and Jake is happy as can be.”
The wedding was held a year after the duo announced their engagement officially on Instagram sharing a black and white photo featuring a beautiful diamond ring on the actress’ finger.
The caption of the post reads, “I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ’em all 🤍.”
Prior to the wedding in April in an interview with The Times of London Bon Jovi gushed over his new daughter-in-law.
“I’ve gotten to know her in the last year, she works really hard, and she and Jake will grow together in their own way,” said Bon Jovi of the couple. “It is an accelerated version of what I went through 40 years ago and I think, with the support of family around them, they’re gonna be great together.”
Moreover, he told Andy Cohen on his SiriusXM show, Radio Andy, last May that he isn’t bothered that his son is getting married so young as he did the same. He tied the knot with his high school sweetheart, Dorothea, at a very young age in Las Vegas in 1989 and also have four children together.
“I don’t know if age matters,” he said.”If you find the right partner and you grow together — I think that would be my advice really, is growing together is wise.”
He later on continues,”Millie’s wonderful. Her whole family are great. Jake is very, very happy.”
Needless to say, the couple is going to live happily ever after with their wonderful family.
