Kamal Haasan Shares update on Indian 2 and Indian 3

Tamil superstar and legend Kamal Haasan who was last seen in the 2022 film Vikram is all set to come back with his much awaited films Indian 2 and Indian 3. In an interview with The Hindu, the actor-filmmaker unveiled that the filming process of theses franchise has completed. The film will be directed by S Shankar, is the sequel of the 1996 blockbuster film Indian. Alongwith Haasan numerous popular south Indian actors are also casted in this film. Needless to say, fans have immense expectations with sequels. Let’s check out what the National Winner has said about this film.

Kamal Haasan said the filming of Indian 2 and Indian 3 is completed 

The 69-year-old superstar who gained enormous recognition and critical acclaim from his last film Vikram said of the upcoming venture, “I can’t make up for the lost time. Also, we cannot speed up production as the quantity doesn’t matter, quality does. We have completed Indian 2 and Indian 3. The post-production work of Indian 2 is currently happening. We will start work on Indian 3 post-production after we finish it.”

Haasan is joined by many talented actors in this venture such as SJ Suryah, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Nedumudi Venu, Vivek and Kalidas Jayaram, among others.

Apart from this much anticipated sequel the actor is also all set to appear in Mani Ratnam’s Thug Life which has incredible buzz as this Indian franchise.

Talking about Thug Life he said, “The shooting of Mani Ratnam’s Thug Life will start soon after the campaign (election) ends. Also, I’ve done a cameo in a film called Kalki 2898 AD.”

He also talked aboyhis Malayalam film Manjummel Boys. The actor added, “I’m very happy about that. I’m a limelight moth. I’m grateful for the hat tip from the Manjummel Boys team, and it’s an encomium to me, Ilaiyaraaja and the location.

He also shared his views on the use of AI in the film industry which was seemingly very positive as he puts it, “AI is a new technology, and we have to embrace it. We have to take care of the artists’ livelihood, especially in a field like cinema, where there is nothing such as VRS or pension.
