Kris Jenner is going through a hard time. The Kardashian-Jenner mommy shared that her younger sister Karen Houghton unexpectedly passed away on March 18. Karen was 65 years old at the time of her death. On March 19 the business tycoon shared the devastating in X( Formally known as Twitter). Jenner’s parents Mary Jo “M. J.” Shannon and Robert Houghton welcomed Karen in 1958, three years after they had her. Although the siblings started to grow apart they seemed to be on good terms during the latter years of Karen’s life. Let’s find out what she has revealed.
Kris Jenner revealed the news via her social media
The 68-year-old shared in his X, “It is with the heaviest heart and deepest sadness that I share that my sister Karen passed away yesterday unexpectedly. My heart aches for my mom MJ and my niece Natalie and I pray that God guides us all through this difficult time. Karen was beautiful inside and out.”
“She was the sweetest, kindest, the most sensitive and vulnerable and so so funny,” the mother of six continued. “She always felt grateful and thankful for her life and treasured her family and friends and especially her beautiful daughter. She holds such a huge part of my heart and I cherish every single memory we have together.”
Moreover, she shared how she is remembering a lesson amid their family’s devastating loss.
“Karen’s passing is a reminder that life is so short and precious and tomorrow is never promised,” she continued. “We must tell those we cherish how much we love them. I love you my beautiful sister.”
Kris’s daughter Kylie Jenner and Khole Kardashian also commented under the post writing, “I love you mommy.”
Needless to say, the family is going through a hard time.
In 2016, Karen who shares daughter Natalie Zettel with Mark Zettel revealed how she seems to have inherited her looks from big sis Kris.
She told Inside Edition at the time, “I look like my beautiful sister Kris, and I never thought I would.”
She was born in 1958 to Mary Jo “M. J.” Shannon and Robert Houghton, three years after the birth of Kris Jenner.
The SD County Department of the Medical Examiner’s Office announced the news of her passing to E! News.
