Kyle Richards opens up about the pitfalls of fame. On the Jan. 17 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Richards shares how her charity gala appearance with estranged husband Mauricio Umansky made her incredibly uncomfortable. Kyle said attending the gala with her husband was very weird
The 55-year-old explained, “I feel like every time I go to one of these events, there’s a lot of whispering and watching Mauricio and me. which feels really strange. They’re analyzing every more or hand gesture. It’s very weird.”
In April the pair came out in public for the outing which was just three months before they announced their split after 27 years of marriage.
Moreover, the Halloween Ends actress also revealed feeling hurt after a real estate agent didn’t show up at the celebration of life she held for her late best friend Lorene Shea.
“Would it have meant something to me if all of a sudden he showed up at the event for Lorene?” Richards revealed. “Of course it would have. He was close with her also.”
However, Kyle didn’t let it slide as she planned a season 13 cast trip to Barcelona without telling him.
“It’s a little taste of his own medicine to be honest,” the reality star explained, “because there are many times where all of a sudden he’s like, ‘Oh, I’m off to Portugal. I’m leaving for Chicago.’ I don’t really get a heads up. So, oops.”
Additionally, she also shared that her husband’s social media behavior played a major role in straining their relationship as well as the marriage.
“Liking people’s photos, following people—you don’t do that,” Kyle shared on the Jan. 10 episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. “Mo gets a lots of DMs from women. They don’t care that he’s married. And they’re always the aggressor. It just makes you realize there’s a lot of f–king a–holes out there.”
“Mo and I have had a challenging year together,” Kyle also shared in The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ season 13 premiere. “He has been working non-stop, I’ve been working. When you have to schedule a meeting to go over your schedule, you know it’s a problem.”
