Miley Cyrus addresses the undeniable chemistry with ex-Liam Hemsworth. The then-couple starred together in the 2010 movie ‘The Last Song’ where they fell in love off-screen and on-screen. In her ABC special documentary, Miley Cyrus: Endless Summer Vacation, which showcases her “Used to Be Young ” series on TikTok, the actress reflected on the auditioning of the film.
Miley Cyrus said the film was the beginning of the 10-year-long relationship
The ‘Flower’ singer said on her TikTok, “I think one of the elements that made that movie feel so special, was it was watching two very young people fall in love with each other, which was happening in real-time and real life.”
The “Flower” singer continued, “So the chemistry was undeniable, and that was the beginning of a long, 10-year relationship.”
Their on-screen magic was indeed teal as the couple got engaged in the same year the film came out. However, they broke up, patched up multiple times, and eventually finally tied up the 2018. Unfortunately, their marriage came to an end a year later and the divorce was finalised in 2020.
Moreover, she recalled how her ex-husband landed the role in the rom-com.

“In 2008, I had to do another feature film for Disney,” Cyrus shared. “And I didn’t want it to be a part of Hannah Montana. Once we had written the screenplay, it was time to audition all the guys who would play Will, my boyfriend in the movie.”
“And we had gotten it down from thousands to the final three,” she revealed, “and Liam was a part of those three.”
Previously, in the series, Miley recalled the burning down of their Malibu House in a Wildfire in 2018.
She said in the 29th episode, “The Meet Miley Cyrus record was really where I started writing my own songs as a solo artist,And so I was working with a producer in Malibu that lived in a house in Ramirez Canyon, which I would’ve never known 15 years later I would be living in that house, which would eventually burn down.”
Moreover, she added, “That house had so much magic to it. It ended up really changing my life.”
