“My You,” a new song by BTS’ Jungkook, is part of the band’s “festa” festivities, and you can see it here now.
Every year on or around June 13, the Korean band “festa” celebrates their anniversary by releasing new music, photographs, and videos.
Fan translations say Jungkook wrote to fans in a message accompanying the release: “When I think about you all, sometimes the feelings I feel are so overpowering that I frequently wonder what would happen if all of this disappeared or if this is all a dream.” For some time now, I’ve been thinking about it. To avoid the song sounding too melancholy, I stuffed as many positive phrases as I could into the lyrics I came up with as inspiration for it.
This song was written only for you, “and I hope this song will make me who wrote this song and all of you who will listen to this song more optimistic, make each of us shine, and be a strength,” she says.
New BTS anthology album “Proof” and the music video for the new song “Yet To Come” were both released on Friday (June 10) as well.
Although it a perfect score by NME magazine, they stated: “When the end of an era arrives, there is frequently a feeling of finality as is the case with “Proof. But, as the proverb goes, “When one door shuts, another one opens,” and these compelling melodies have moments that alleviate any anxieties that this is the end.
BTS’s promise of “Promise that we’ll keep on coming back for more” emphasizes that the most beautiful moment in life will keep changing to new heights, much like “Yet To Come” assures us.
Along with the publication of “Proof,” the group has also opened pop-up shops in New York and Los Angeles. Fans and tourists will be able to “dance, sing, and pose” like BTS at each site and buy unique products. Limited BTS products from previous collections will also be available at the locations.
