Nikhil Advani shared some insights about his upcoming web series Freedom At Midnight. The web series would be based on Larry Collins and Dominique Lapierre’s all-time best-selling novel of the same name. Advani who is notable for blockbuster films like Kal Ho Naa Ho, D-Day, and Veeda revealed that he is totally immersed in the shooting of this upcoming series. Nikhil Advani said he started shooting Freedom At Midnight since February
The 52-year-old director shared in a recent interview,”I am currently swamped in the shooting of Freedom At Midnight which will be telecast on SonyLIV. I prepped for three years before starting to shoot for Freedom At Midnight. I’ve been shooting since February.”
Moreover, Nikkhil revealed that Freedom At Midnight was always one of his favorite books. Also, he has casted some fine British actors to play all the important British characters such as Lord Mountbatten and Lady Edwina.
Directed by Nikkhil Advani, Abhinandan Gupta, Adwitiya Kareng Das, and Gundeep Kaur’s servers as the writer of the adaptation of Dominique Lapierre and Larry Collins’s legendary book. Freedom at Midnight would be an epic political thriller-drama that will highlight several incidents from the year of India’s independence. Moreover, some interconnected stories about crucial events at the era of independence and personalities who played a significant role in penning the country’s history.
