Singer Palak Muchhal revealed Salman Khan contributed to her mission and sponsored 100 surgeries. The 32-year-old told the outlet, “Salman Khan has been one of the biggest supporters I have had in Mumbai.”
Reflecting on her first encounter with the superstar she noted how Khan embraced her with generosity and support giving her a chance to sing for his film, which he later fulfilled.
“Then he made me meet so many important people. He introduced me to a lot of people, recommended my name to so many of them, contributed to my mission also, and sponsored 100 surgeries. As of now, talking about today, no decision in my life is taken without him knowing about it,” she told ETimes.
“He is as involved as I would say myself in any professional decision that I take, I have to call him and tell him.” she added.
Muchhal continues, “Sometimes it’s like, How can you do this? Sometimes it’s like, good, you are doing this.But he has a say in everything that I do, and I truly value his contribution. I listen to him most of the time. He’s been asking me to keep some amount of money for myself lately, which I have not been able to follow completely, because I have a waiting list also. He has a plan for my career and my life, and I’m really happy to have him as a big support.”
Moreover, during the conversation Palak also noted that despite Salman Khan’s encouragement she accepted his offer to pursue acting, sharing that it was “not her cup of tea.” “When I met him, the first thing that he told me was that I should act. And he offered me something at that time also,” she explained. Although she was reluctant she praised Khan’s immense kindness and understanding.
