Met Gala queen Rihanna’s absence has become the cause of an immense disappointment for the fans. As per the sources of Entertainment Tonight the “Rude Boy” songstress had to skip the event as she came down with the flu. Last year, she amazingly graced the prestigious event while dressing in her baby bump in a gorgeous white gown by Valentino after announcing her pregnancy with baby No. 2 during her Super Bowl performance. Previously this year, the “Lift Me Up” singer confirmed that she would be in attendance at the 2024 Met Gala in an interview with British Vogue. She told the outlet that she would not be revealing any details about her look but however,it would be from her own brand.
“I’m gonna wear Fenty something! Fenty Beauty, Fenty Skin, Fenty Savage,” she explained.
“I’ve done so much s**t in my life. I’ve had my nipples out, my panties out. But now, those are the things which, I guess as a mom and an evolved young lady — emphasis on young — there are things I feel like I would never do. Like, ‘Oh my God, I really did that? Nips out?'” Rihanna noted.
Meanwhile, RZA and Riot have also become stylish like their parents as during the conversation with Entertainment Tonight at the launch of her FENTY x PUMA Creeper Phatty Earth Tone shoe, the self-made billionaire said although initially struggled with the way she would dress Rza and Riot, now the problem is resolved.
“When I dress them, I always try to dress them like Rocky,” she told the media house. “Because I always envision dressing a girl, right? We all do as women, like, ‘Oh, I’m going to dress her in these cute little things,’ but then you get sons and you’re like, ‘What do I do?’ and I was like, ‘You know what, I have the biggest hack — their dad.’”
The “Umbrella” singer shared two sons with partner A$AP Rocky. The pair got together in late 2019 and later they welcomed their first son, RZA, in 2022 and second baby boy named Riot, in August 2023.
