Selena Gomez gives her fans a message of self-love after facing criticism for weight gain. In her recent appearance at the 2023 Golden Globe awards the “Who Says” singer seems to put on some weight. On February 16, the singer-actress shares a video on TikTok sharing the massage of self-love with her fans. Gomez has been suffering from Lupas and even underwent a kidney transplant.
Selena Gomez said she tends to hold a lot of water weight
On February 16, the 30-year-old was revealed to hold “a lot of water weight” while on her Lupas medication. The Only Muders In The Building alum added, “And that happens very normally. And then when I’m off of it I tend to kind of lose weight.”
Later on, she shares an important message with herself and her admirers. As she shares, “I just want people to know that you’re beautiful and you’re wonderful. And yeah we have days where maybe we feel like s–t but I would much rather be healthy and take care of myself and my medications are important and I believe they are what helps me. So, yeah, not a model, never will be. And I think they’re awesome, mind you, I just, I’m definitely not that.”
Previously, Gomez has been vocal about her health issues such as bipolar and Lupas. Selena concluded the life by saying, “I just wanted to tell you I love you guys. And thanks for supporting me and understanding and if not, go away ’cause honestly I don’t believe in shaming people for body or anything.”
Previously On February 15 in an interview published on Vanity Fair, she said, “I find it to be a little less hostile.There are wonderful things about social media—connecting with fans, seeing how happy and excited they are and their stories. But usually that’s filtered through [for me now]. Everything I do I send to my assistant who posts them. As far as comments, my team will put together a few things that are encouraging.”
