Taylor Kinney is leaving the show for personal matters

As per the sources of the Deadline, the actor is leaving the NBC show because of some personal matter. However, there isn’t any information about what personal matter is it. Moreover, sources say that the script of the show is also being rewritten since his exit.

The 41-year-old is the part of this Dick Wolf production since its inception in 2012. He also remained one of just five original cast members who survive all 11 seasons. Moreover, he also has reprised the character of Chicago PD, Chicago Med, and Chicago Justice.

In 2021, Kinney also has his milestone of 200 episodes along with his co-star Jesse Spencer. He Said at that time,

“I think that speaks volumes to the leadership from the top down, It’s genuine, we all really get along. There’s no bad apples. It really has become like a surrogate family.”

He added, “There were 152 primetime broadcast cable pilots produced during the season we shot the Chicago Fire pilot. Guess how many are left? Us! Nothing else.”

Kinney gets a lot of recognition and fame for his role. He also gets even won a 2016 People’s Choice Award for Favorite Dramatic TV Actor along with three nominations.
The current season stars David Eigenberg, Hanako Greensmith, Eamonn Walker, Christian Stolte, Joe Minoso, Kara Killmer, Miranda Rae Mayo, Alberto Rosende, and Daniel Kyri.
Needless to say, it’s gonna be hard for the fans to watch the show without it.
