The Great Indian Kapil Show is all set to hit our screen. The Netflix series which will start streaming from March 30 will feature the reunion of comedian-turned-actor Kapil Sharma and much-celebrated co-performer Sunil Grover. Grover who has been an important part of Kapil’s Television show Comedy Night With Kapil departed from the show years before during an ongoing feud with Sharma. However, it seems to be resolved as Netflix shared the first look of the show where the comedian-turned-actor made his grand entry.

In the video, Kapil is seen sitting with his team while brainstorming the way to reveal the show’s title. During which Sunil made a grand entry sharing to announce the news via skywriting, Sunil advises against it, “Plane se dur hi rehte hai (let’s stay away from planes)”. 

Kapil will be joined by his Comedy Nights Co-stars 

The show which will beagan streaming on 30th March every Saturday from 8 pm onwards on Netflix will feature Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Archana Puran Singh, and Rajiv Thakur along with Sunil Grover and Kapil Sharma.

Previously talking about the show Sharma noted, “Finding our new home at Netflix has been one of the best things to have happened to us. And like we mentioned previously as well, ‘Bas Ghar Badla Hai, Parivaar Nahi’. We are excited and all geared up to entertain our fans not just in India, but across the globe. Dil thaam ke baithiye, as we present to you, The Great Indian Kapil Show, from 30 March only on Netflix!”

The reunion of Kapil and Sunil comes nearly seven years after their infamous fight from 2017.

During an Interview with Indian Express Grover addressed how he sorted out the difference with Sharma.

Sunil explainz, “Initially, I would get disturbed, but not anymore. I know the truth so what someone says or understands, is their problem, not mine. Those who point fingers, what is their credibility? If I need to answer something, I will do so, but usually, there is no need for an explanation. They don’t have a full understanding of the matter, no facts, they are just saying something because it’s their job. Writing negative things grabs more attention. They will all understand eventually.”

Needless to say, it’ll be a treat for the fans to finally see them together after years.
