Kansas City Chiefs tight end shows his girlfriend Taylor Swift a big show of support while explaining the reason for not being able to be there by her side at the 2024 Grammy Awards which is going to be held on February 4th. On the Jan. 31 episode of The Pat McAfee Show, the footballer proves he is Swift’s biggest cheerleader. Moreover, he also talked about his feelings about the support the Grammy winner gave him. Travis Kelce said he loves it when Taylor comes and supports him
The 34-year-old said about his absence from the Grammys, “I wish I could go support Taylor at the Grammys, and watch her win every single award that she’s nominated for.”
Moreover, he said of the support he and the “Anti-Hero” singer give each other.
“We’re just two people in a relationship supporting each other and having fun with it,” Kelce explained. “I love it when Taylor comes and supports me and enjoys the game with the fam and friends. It’s been nothing but a wonderful year.”
Apart from that the athlete also shared how they’re letting go of the negatives. “We hear it,” he said , “but we hardly ever talk about it.”
Talking about the reason for the tight end’s absence, he and his Chiefs teammates will be going to face the San Francisco 49s during the Super Bowl LVIII tournament which is happening the same week of the event.
Previously, Swift in a December 6 2023 interview with Times also talked about the process of dealing with the negativity surrounding their romance.
“I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” the 34-year-old added.”The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”
As for the NFL’s publicity stunt on their relationship, she told the outlet, “There’s a camera, like, a half-mile away, and you don’t know where it is, and you have no idea when the camera is putting you in the broadcast, so I don’t know if I’m being shown 17 times or once, I’m just there to support Travis. I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads.”
Needless to say, their love is getting stronger than ever.
