Veteran actor John Aniston passed away at the age of 89. The actor is the father of actress Jenifer Aniston. The news was announced by his daughter Jennifer yesterday, November 14. The Friends alum gave tribute to her ‘Sweet Papa ‘. The late actor was a part of the famous American sitcom Days Of Our Life. However, the cause of his death isn’t revealed yet. Jenifer is his daughter with ex-wife Nancy Dow who passed away in 2016.

On November 14, the 53-year-old took her Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/p/Ck8aKjLrYzs/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link) to announce the news and pay tribute to her late father. Therefore, she shared a series of pictures with a heartfelt and emotional note.
“Sweet Papa…John Anthony Aniston, you were one of the most beautiful humans I ever knew. I am so grateful that you went soaring into the heavens in peace – and without pain. And on 11/11 no less! You always had perfect timing. That number will forever hold an even greater meaning for me now.
I’ll love you till the end of time.”- the Friends alum wrote.
Five months ago the actress honored her father when he received the Daytime Emmys for the Lifetime Achievement Award.
“It’s an opportunity not only to pay tribute to a true icon in the daytime television world, but it’s also a chance to recognize the life-long achievements of a great and well-respected actor. Who also happens to be my dad.” the actress said.
Furthermore, Aniston continued,” For over 30 years, his dedication to that show has gained him the respect and admiration of his fellow actors, deep friendships, and thrilled millions of fans around the world,” she added. “His career is literally the definition of lifetime achievement.”
Apart from daughter Jennifer, wife Sherry Rooney and their son Alex Aniston were there by the actor’s side till the last breath.
