Actor Vijay Varma who has been becoming a renowned name over the years for his magnificent performances in Mirzapur, Darlings, and others opened up about his character on their third season of Mirzapur. Vijay Varma said he have never been so torn as an actor
Reflecting on his experience from the previous season the actor noted, “Season 2 mein, maine twin brothers ka role play kiya tha. As an actor, 2 characters play karna challenging tha, but what helped me was the vision of seeing them separately and interacting with each other. Iss season mein sabse bada challenge tha dono ko ek character mein pack karna. I felt I had a split personality. Ye saari conflicts abhi bhi mere andar hain. I’ve never been so torn as an actor (In Season 2, I played the role of twin brothers. As an actor, playing two characters was challenging, but what helped me was the vision of seeing them separately and making them interact with each other. Iss season mein sabse bada challenge tha dono ko ek character mein pack karna. I felt I had a split personality. Ye saari conflicts abhi bhi mere andar hain. Verma explained their different personalities: “Bharat zimmedar hai, uske sir par poora vyaapar hai. Bade bhai hain, samajhdaar hona toh zaroori hai. Shatrughan ek aazad panchi hai. Jo pyaar use apnon se nahi mila, wo usse duniya mein dhoondhta hai. Par kya hai na, ki yeh hai Mirzapur, aur yahan log bas ek mauke ki firaak mein rehte hain, apna fayeda nikaalne ke lie (Bharat is responsible, with the entire business on his shoulders. As the elder brother, it’s necessary for him to be wise. Shatrughan is a free bird. The love he didn’t get from his own, he seeks in the world. But you see, this is Mirzapur, and here, people are always looking for an opportunity to take advantage for themselves).”
