Cheryl Burke revealed the reason behind her leaving the popular show Dance With Stars. On November 20, Burke revealed on Instagram that she is stepping out of the shoes of a pro dancer. The dancer was in this show for almost two decades. The show is currently on its 37th season. She was also revealed to perform a final dance at the season finale on November 21.

In an Instagram post( https://www.instagram.com/p/ClME3S8p2EN/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link) on 19th, November Burke announced the news. After 17 years being part of the show her exits make everyone shocked yet emotional.
The dancer said this show has been like a second family to her. ” This show has been my 2nd family since I was 21 years old. The cast, crew & fans have been seen me through my highest highs and some of my lowest lows,& I honestly don’t know who I would be today without them “.
Further concluded the post by saying,”This has been one of the absolute hardest decisions of my life & I am also confident that it is the right one. This has truly been the experience of a lifetime. I’m looking forward to this next chapter of my career, but man will this one be hard to beat! Until next time…Love you all, always & forever xx.”
Meanwhile, in an interview with E-news, the 38-year-old revealed “It’s the end of an era, my time as a dancer on Dancing with the Stars. It has changed my life. I have not stopped crying and I’m not one to really cry.”
Burke first came to DWTS in the second season back in 2006. Even along with her partner Drew Lachey won the Mirror Ball Trophy. Further on, she again competed on the show in seasons 19,23, 25, and 27 to the present.
