The Gimmicks, a popular adult animated series from Web3 animation company Toonstar, will premiere a second season on the Avalanche blockchain. On Thursday, October 27th, the new season will make its debut at Avalanche Creates, a Bay Area gathering put on by Ava Labs, a software provider that supports the Avalanche ecosystem. The Gimmicks crew will welcome Mark Consuelos (Riverdale) as an executive producer and voice actor.

The Family Guy and Star Trek: Lower Decks writers “The Daves,” Dave Ihlenfeld and David Wright, will continue in their roles as executive producers. “House of Chico,” the new season, follows rising star Rocky Romero (also known as Chico el Luchador) to his Lucha roots in Mexico. Additionally, in keeping with Toonstar’s dedication to diversifying the voices in animation, new voices Mike Tenango and Alberto Portillo will join the writing team and the production team, respectively. Top Latino performers and influencers will also appear in the upcoming season, including:
