It would seem that the rumors are accurate. It has been rumored that Amber Heard would be cut from the upcoming film “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.”
Just a few short weeks after the actress was unsuccessful in her defamation action versus Johnny Depp, JustJared.com confirmed that the actress’ part in “Aquaman 2” had been slashed and that her character, Mera, would be replaced in the next film.

During the trial, Ruby herself stated that she was uncertain whether her role would be included in the finished picture.
She further claimed in court that Warner Bros.’s decision to reduce her part severely and their refusal to boost her salary for the second film resulted from the litigation and the case caused them.
