Anne Heche’s Son Atlas is finally opening up about her death in a car crash last August. In a statement to the Los Angeles Inquisitor magazine, the 14-year-old shared his thoughts on his mother’s death. Moreover, his father James Tupper who was in a relationship with the late actress from 2007 to 2018 paid tribute to his former partner in the same article.

In a statement to the magazine, the Los Angeles Inquisitor the teen shared how he is dealing with the grief of losing his mother. He said, “My mom was the brightest person I’ve ever known. She always knew how to solve a problem or help a friend. She always knew the right thing to do. I cannot put into words how grateful I am or how much I miss her.” ?He also paid tribute to her in Instagram writing, “love you forever,” alongside a broken heart emoji.
Moreover, Atlas’s father actor James Tupper also paid tribute to his late former partner. They dated from 2007 to 2018. He said about his Men in Trees co-star,” Anne and I were together for more than a decade, we have a beautiful son together and in that time, she was the very definition of light in our lives, always bringing fun, love, and energy. She will always be remembered in our hearts and minds.”
Anne died on August 11 after an unfortunate car accident. Heche’s older son Homer whom she shared with her former husband Coleman Laffoon also penned a note for her fans for supporting her posthumous memoir, Call Me Anne. He shared, “Hi Everybody, Homer here. Never imagined I’d find myself responsible for mom’s IG account, but here we are. First things first, from August to now, the amount of love, care and support shown by those on social media and IRL has been overwhelming and blessedly received—thank you.”
