Critics Choice Awards 2024 Nominations: Barbie Takes the Lead

Award season is full-on fire. On December 13, 2024 Critics Choice Awards unveiled the nominations of the film and television category. Earning a whopping 18 nominations Greta Gerwig directed Barbie leads the pack with the Best Comedy and Best Picture as well as Best Director and Screenplay. Moreover, Christopher Nolan directed Oppenheimer and Yorgos Lanthimos’s Poor Things also bagged multiple nods. While in the television category, Succession and The Bear get numerous nominations.
