Dwayne Johnson shared his condolences for the tragic wildfires on the island of Maui, Hawaii that have been ravaging since last week. On Sunday the actor took his Instagram to show his support to the firefighters, first responders, and civilians of the place. Moreover, he also asked for donations in the help of the affected people in Hawaii. Let’s see what he has written.
Dwayne Johnson urged the people of the island to Stay Strong
The Fast & Furious, wrote in his Instagram along with showing firefighters, first responders, and civilians fighting in controlling the fire, “Heartbroken but our faith and mana is strong. First responders, health care teams, hotels, local businesses, boots-on-the-ground organizations, and all our local heroes, stay strong – we love you and appreciate you.”
Moreover, Johnson also known as “Rock” continued, “All our local families, our ohana, our aiga, stay strong thru this devastating time. Resilience is our DNA. Our ancestors are in our blood. This is who we are. This is what we do. I love you. Stay strong.”
Moreover, the actor also asked the people to donate in order to help the affected people on the island.
Apart from Johnson many stars of the industry including Jason Momoa, Maui residents Carlos and Alexa PenaVega, and Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich, who owns a home on the island. Additionally, Mick Fleetwood, who owned the restaurant, Fleetwood’s on Front St., which has been destroyed amid the tragedy has expressed devastation over the situation.
As per the reports, the horrific disaster began on the 8th of August. Moreover, the cause of the disaster, according to Āina Momona (environmental nonprofit organization), is drought conditions and hurricane weather.

It is also regarded as the deadliest wildfire in the history of the United States over a century.
