Gal Gadot reacted to Margot Robbie’s wish for her to play the Barbie. On August 11, during her interview with Flaunt Magazine Wonder Woman revealed to be touched by Robbie’s wish. Barbie has currently taken movie theatres by storm and even achieved the milestone of reaching $1 billion. Needless to say, it would have been very interesting to see the action star portray sweet innocent Barbie. However, as per the marvelous response to the movie, we can say Robbie hasn’t done a bad job either.
Gal Gadot said she adores Margot
The 38-year-old told the outlet, “I adore Margot. Margot is one of those women who you just want to be friends with.”
Later on, the Heart Of Stone praised the Suicide Squad as, “so funny, warm, fun and smart and obviously so talented.” Moreover, Gal who also attended the Barbie movie’s Los Angeles premium has a strong urge to work with Margot in the future.
“She brings so much to the table,” Gadot continued. “I would love to do anything with Margot and was very touched [by her comments]. She warmed my heart with everything that she said about me. I’m super excited for them, and I’m so excited for Barbie.”
Previously, in May during an interview with Vogue, Robbie revealed she saw Gal for a role in Barbie as embodied such “Barbie energy.” However, due to some date issues, she can’t be part of the film.
The 33-year-old who also co-produced the blockbuster added, “Because Gal Gadot is so impossibly beautiful, but you don’t hate her for being that beautiful because she’s so genuinely sincere, and she’s so enthusiastically kind, that it’s almost dorky. It’s like right before being a dork.”
However, Margot herself ended up in Barbie’s heels which indeed wasn’t a bad decision either looking at the movie’s box office.
