How to get rid of negative energy around you

At times you must have thought that there is something negative around you, like negative vibes. 

There is a negative feeling that the good things in life don’t seem to make sense anymore or things might have taken a wrong turn, for the worst.

You can yourself sense the subtle changes in vibrations in and around us.  And if you focus, you can easily recognise and learn the symptoms that you are surrounded by negative energy.

Therefore, you can get rid of the same. Some of these symptoms are:

1. You feel uneasy and restless

2. You are not able to sleep properly

3. You feel down and out and nervous

4. Your thoughts and feelings spiral out of control

5. You tend to absorb others’ negative thoughts quickly

To get rid of negative energy – 

1. Identify and get rid of negative influences in your life

Sometimes you feel drained of energy as soon as you meet a specific person or go to a definite place. And because negativity is toxic it is essential to identify its cause and source.

However, it is very to detach ourselves from such people. So, take your time and take small steps. Cut down your time with these people who drain your energy.

Try to maintain boundaries so that you don’t get pushed into situations you don’t wish to be a part of.

2. Practice meditation and calming techniques​

Calm yourself with the help of meditation and get back to the state of relaxation. For this, you just need to find a quiet place and close your eyes.

Observe your thoughts as they stride through your head and do not tag them as good or bad. Then you will feel the weight being lifted from your shoulders.

3. Get rid of the clutter

Get rid of the clutter from your office and home by cleaning your tabletops, closets and workstation to free up space and invite positivity your way.

Dispose of the things that you no longer need, don’t keep storing them.

4. Put a pause on cribbing and whining

Sometimes while whining and cribbing you will realise that it was completely unnecessary.

You whine about things that irritate you and hence pay more attention to what is upsetting you and complain.  Therefore, focus on finding the appropriate solution to the problem.

5. Stay close to nature

Try to stay close to nature and keep the windows open. Allow sunlight and fresh air to enter your home or office. You can also add more plants in and around your house for more energy and positivity.
