Ariana Grande who recently parted ways with her husband Dalton Gomez after two years of marriage has recently started dating her ‘Wicked’ co-star Ethan Slater. A source confirmed that the duo started dating just after they parted ways with their significant others. Although Gomez has tried to reconcile the relationship they decided to part ways after realising the difference they have. Meanwhile, Slater’s wife Lilly Jay, is also reported to be”devastated” by the separation from her husband.
Ariana and Ethan connected as friends first
The source revealed, “Ariana and Dalton both realized they were very different people and quietly separated earlier this year. Ariana and Ethan connected as friends first because they have a lot in common and many similar interests.”
Moreover, earlier this week it is reported that the actor has filed for divorce from his wife Lilly Jay who is “devastated” by the news as “this is not the future she had in mind.”
“She’s doing her best to get back on her feet. She’s incredibly smart and driven,” the source said at the times. “She is truly the best mother.”
Following the divorce, Jay said in a statement on Page six the relationship with her husband has created “collateral damage” to her family.
“[Ariana’s] the story really. Not a girl’s girl,” the mother of Ethan’s son started, “My family is just collateral damage.”
Moreover, it was also reported they didn’t start dating until they split from their partners.
“Ariana and Ethan recently started dating. They have a lot in common and have a lot of fun,” the source said. “They didn’t start dating until both were broken up with their significant others. Ariana and Dalton remain friends.”
However, both of them are yet to confirm the news publically.
