Michelle Yeoh finally said ‘I do’ to her longtime partner Jean Todt. The academy winner, who has been together for 19 years with the former Ferrari CEO, tied the knot on Wednesday. The news was shared by the couple’s friend and racecar driver Felipe Massa on Instagram. Moreover, Massa also shared some glimpses of the intimate ceremony. In the post, there are carousel pictures from the ceremony. It reads along with a throwback picture of the newlyweds, “We met in Shanghai on 4th June 2004. On 26th July 2004, J.T. proposed to marry M.Y and she said YES! Today after 6992 days on 27th July 2023 in Geneva, surrounded by loving family and friends, we are so happy to celebrate this special moment together!”
As we can see in the pictures the 60-year-old rocked two different outfits for the ceremony. In one picture she was seen wearing a champagne-colored gown with lace sleeves and a corset bodice while in other photos featured her Oscar statue. Moreover, she also wore a satin white blouse with a tiered white skirt for the formal marriage license signing.
Previously the Everything Everywhere All at Once star was married to businessman Dickson Poon from 1988 to 1991. While, her new husband is the father of a son Nicolas, from a previous marriage.
Needless to say, it’s indeed amazing news for her fans. The couple who has been together for almost nineteen years seems to be very happy in this new phase of their life as husband and wife.
