Joey King Revealed The Best Part About Married Life With Steven Piet

Joey King is living happily ever after. The  Los Angeles premiere of her series We Were the Lucky Ones on Thursday while talking with Entertainment Tonight, the Kissing Booth star revealed to have a best time being married to husband Steven Piet . The couple walked down the aisle in an enchanting ceremony in Mallorca, Spain back in September, in the presence of dozens of their close friends and family members. They started dating in 2019 and two years later Piet popped the question. Let’s check out the complete details.

Joey King said everything is just like a little bit sweeter in marriage life

The 24-year-old actress reveals, “Watching Frasier in bed every night before bed, that’s kind of the — I mean, among many other things, Honestly, it’s funny ’cause like not much has changed because we’d already lived together but everything is just like a little bit sweeter.” 

The couple who first met while filming Hulu’s The Act which is a miniseries based on the life of Gypsy Rose Blanchard. They first met in 2019 and later announced their engagement in 2022. 

King wrote in her engagement announcement,”I never knew happiness could be so powerful that it can take the air from your lungs, overwhelming every part of you that you can’t help but feel your eyes well from the undeniable joy.”

Back in September the couple got married in a gorgeous ceremony in Mallorca. King shared,”I really hope that people just feel the uniqueness of this family story, I hope that the story allows people to kind of just hold compassion in their hearts for anyone going through any kind of pain without judgment.”

In the TV adaptation of the eponymous best-selling novel, Logan Lerman portrayed the role of Addy Kurc, the real-life grandfather of Georgia Hunter the author of the book.  Meanwhile, King plays the role of Addy’s sister Halina Kurc. The plotline revolves around the Kurc family during World War II while they are separated and struggle to find each other again. 

Talking about the show, Joey said, “I really hope that people just feel the uniqueness of this family story. I hope that the story allows people to kind of just hold compassion in their hearts for anyone going through any kind of pain without judgment.”

We Were the Lucky Ones will hit the small screens on Hulu on March 28.
