In her 2020 Netflix documentary Swifted opened up about how the negative media publicity led her to develop an unhealthy relationship with food. She often starves herself. She revealed,”It’s not good for me to see pictures of myself every day. It’s only happened a few times, and I’m not in any way proud of it. A picture of me where I feel like I looked like my tummy was too big, or…someone said that I looked pregnant…and that’ll just trigger me to just starve a little bit — just stop eating.”
However, this isn’t the first time the 36-year-old praises her fellow Grammy winner. In 2020, the oscar winner applauded Swift’s performance of “Soon You’ll Get Better” at Global Citizen’s One World: Together at the Home televised event. Gaga wrote the song about her mom Andrea’s cancer battle. Talking with Entertainment Tonight the “Shallow” singer reacted, “This is so beautiful, Taylor. Thank you for sharing this vulnerable moment with us. You’re really, really even so much braver at this moment. Thank you. Thank you for doing this for us.”
