Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra’s Chef Michael Dane gives an extraordinary diet idea. In an exclusive interview with E! News the Chef revealed why it’s important to remove preservatives from your diet. Moreover, he also gives some important tips on fitness and healthy lifestyle. Let’s check out what he has shared.
Dane advised to go for whole foods
In this interview the chief addressed what changes are important to make on diet as he said, “Go for whole foods first, Instead of buying a dried fruit snack with seasoning, which has preservatives in it, go buy the fruit and seasoning. You’d be surprised at how amazing it is. It doesn’t have concentrated sugars, it’s fresh and so much better for you.”
Moreover, he noted of food additives that are used as thickening agents, “The things that cause weight gain or make people have chronic inflammation are Xanthan gum and Guar gum. These keep sauces emulsified and looking pretty in the bottle. Those are the things that people need to eliminate from their diet.”
He continues, “Making these little swaps will go such a long way.”
As per the chef small changes will have an immense positive reaction on your health and well-being. “Chronic stress leads to inflammation in your body,” he explained. “Pay attention to your mental and emotional health because that has physical consequences to your weight and longevity, too. And make sure you’re exercising. It doesn’t mean joining a gym, just walk,” because “No one ever went on a walk and came back and felt worse.”
He believes that changing your lifestyle has a more positive impact than you could ever imagine.
“The average person, despite not having access to a personal trainer or chef, has a great advantage [over celebrities],” Michael shared. “They can create a regular, healthy environment for their body and mind, so it’s almost easier.”
In addition, talking about the current trend of choosing chemicals or drugs for losing weight, he advised that before you opt for diets or weight-loss medications, such as Ozempic, always keep in mind it’s harmful side-effects.
“There is no magic bullet to cure your health,” he explained. “It’s in front of you the whole time: Eat real food, avoid chemicals in your body and exercise.”
