It says, “The legendary bombshell actress of film, television, and stage, passed away peacefully early this morning after a brief illness. Her career spanned over 50 years starring in over 30 films and 50 television series and appearances.”
Talking about her early life she was Born in Chicago in September 1940. The actress gained international recognition for her roles in films like Fantastic Voyage and One Million Years B.C, Three Musketeers, Legally Blonde, and many more. Moreover, her iconic deerskin bikini in One Million Years B.C is still unforgettable for many of her admirers. She even won a Golden Globe for her role in Three Musketeers. Apart from that, She was even named one of Empire magazine’s 100 Sexiest Stars in Film History and also ranked No. 3 in Playboy’s 100 Sexiest Stars of the 20th century in the ’90s.
In 2011, talking with AARP she said, “I was a bigger-than-life persona. before I was anyone in my own mind.”
previously, she also talked about her career in a 2012 interview with CBS News. She said, “The lord was watching over me or something, because otherwise, why? I mean there was no reason for me to be on top of a volcano in that outfit shooting a dinosaur movie and when I come back, I’m a star. It’s just nutty.”
Talking about her personal life, Welch tied the knot four times. Her first marriage was to James Welch from 1995 to 1964. They shared a son Damon, 63, and a daughter Tahnee, 61. Her next three marriages were with Patrick Curtis (1967-1972), Andre Weinfeld (1980-1990), and Richard Palmer (1999 to 2004).
