While conversing with the trio the Only Murders In The Building star revealed, “I do feel like I have one more album in me but I would probably choose acting.”
Talking about her current work profile Gomez is a proud producer and actress of Emmy-nominated Hulu series Only Murders In the Building. Apart from that she also actively stars in Selena + Chef for MAX and Food Network, and also become a successful businesswoman for her Rare Beauty makeup line.
The 31-year-old who started her acting career at the age of 10 on Barney & Friends shockingly revealed music wasn’t always her first choice from the beginning.
As she told the podcast hosts, “I started having a lot of fun with music and then touring was really fun. But I was doing my TV show at the same time [Wizards of Waverly Place] and I just found it really fun so I just kept going but the older I get, the more I’m kind of like — I would like to find something to just settle on,”
Moreover, she added that when she took on the role of Alex Russo in the famous sitcom Wizards of Waverly Place Disney wanted her to be a “triple threat.”
“I wanted to be an actress, I never really intended on being a singer full-time but apparently that hobby turned into something else,” the Single Soon singer continued.
However, fate took an exciting turn as her hobby turned into a successful music career which gave us three amazing studio albums to be exact, Stars Dance (2013), Revival (2015) and Rare (2020). On top of that, she also became part of breakthrough singles with some of the biggest names in the music industry. Such as “Ice Cream” with BLACKPINK, “999” with Camilo, “Let Somebody Go” with Coldplay and “Calm Down” with Rema.

The “People” singer is currently the talk of the town in her newly public relationship with music producer Benny Blanco.
Meanwhile, a source of Entertainment Tonight revealed how the singer-actress is now comfortable with addressing the speculation on her love life.
The source said about the hot couple, “She feels so safe and secure with him, so she felt like it was a good time to share how happy she is with her fans.”
Therefore, it said about the producer, “Benny is a great communicator, is honest and open with Selena, and listens to her. He’s respectful, isn’t a player, and not in it for the attention or fame. He doesn’t care about any of that and Selena sees that and really trusts him.”
A few days ago, the pair were spotted cuddling up in a creative snapshot shared by the pop songstress in her Instagram story. In the photo, Blanco was seen wrapping his arms around the singer from behind.

Things have been going really well between them and Selena is happy. She thinks Benny is very funny and of course, extremely talented.
